When you post a sighting, we collect the content of that post including location, description, and any tags you add. We also collect usage data such as pages visited and features used to improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate and improve Fumble Fate, to match sightings with potential respondents, to send you notifications about activity on your posts, and to process subscription payments. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Information Sharing
Your sightings are visible to other users based on your visibility settings. Your email address is never shown publicly. We share limited data with service providers who help us operate the platform, including Supabase (database), Lemon Squeezy (payments), and Vercel (hosting). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Deleted accounts and their associated sightings are permanently removed within 30 days.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in and to understand how you use the service. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect your ability to use the platform.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including using encrypted connections and secure data storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
